VISAS TO THE U.S.

Schedule an Appointment

Beginning 15 September 2007, all non-immigrant visa applicants, including for tourism, business, or other temporary stays, require an appointment for an interview.  We will no longer accept walk-in visa applicants.

To request an appointment, please visit our non-immigrant visa appointment website.

Only visa applicants with appointments will be allowed into the Embassy – please ask your family members, friends, or colleagues NOT applying for a visa not come to the Embassy.  To make an appointment, please have the following information available:

  1. Complete name as it appears in your passport
  2. Passport number
  3. Desired interview date (we recommend the interview be well in advance of intended travel date)
  4. Barcode Number located on third page of Visa Form DS-156
  5. Local contact telephone number or email address

Once you have completed the visa appointment process, you will be prompted to print a receipt page.  Please print and bring this receipt page on the date with you to your interview.  If you do not bring your receipt page, you will not be allowed to enter the U.S. Embassy for your interview.
