Passport Renewal
To apply for a renewal of your passport without appearing in person at the Consular Section, you must meet ALL the following conditions:
- Your most recent U.S. passport must be presented with the application;
- You must have been issued a U.S. passport in your own name within the past 15 years;
- You were at least 16 years of age when your most recent U.S. passport was issued;
- The passport has not been damaged or altered in any way.
If you meet all of the above conditions, you may submit the following documents to the Consular Section:
- Application for Renewal of Passport (Form DS-82), typed or filled out in black or blue ink;
- Current or expired U.S. passport;
- Two (2) identical photographs, either color or black-and-white, taken within the last six months. These photographs must measure 2x2 inches (5x5 cm) with a white background. The photographs should be clear, front view, full face, taken in normal street attire without a hat or dark glasses;
- A fee of $75.00 or R.O. 30.000, payable in cash.
