Educational Advising

The U.S. Embassy Muscat provides free Educational advising for undergraduate and graduate studies, post-doctoral opportunities, and technical and vocational studies. Our reference materials include information about English-language orientation programs, special programs for learning disabled students, private and secondary schools and a reference file on various fields of study. Educational Testing Service bulletins to register for the TOEFL SAT I & II,GMAT, GRE and TSE exams are available free of charge. Pre-admission and pre-departure orientations are conducted by appointment.

Mission Statement:
"This center strives to provide accurate, comprehensive, current, and unbiased information on educational opportunities in the United States. We do not endorse or rank any college or university, nor do we endorse services provided by any company or organization in the areas of test preparation, admissions, placement, language training, or visa procurement."

Business Hours: The educational advising service is open to the public Saturday through Wednesday from 9:00a.m -12:00p.m. and 02:00p.m. - 03:00p.m.  We accept inquiries at:
