Notice to Visa Applicants

The U.S. Department of State is in the process of moving to a new nonimmigrant visa application, the online DS-160.  This form replaces the old DS-156, DS-157 and DS-158 with a convenient, streamlined online system.

The U.S. Embassy in Muscat will switch over to the DS-160 on February 6, 2010.  By March 1, 2010, the U.S. Embassy in Muscat will no longer be able to accept the old forms and will instead require all applicants to apply online using the DS-160.
